Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag is enjoying a new challenge as Premier League manager and has been studying Arsenal in detail ahead of Sunday's highly anticipated clash.
Mikel Arteta's Gunners start this weekend top of the Premier League with his five wins from the start and face their biggest test yet at turbulent Old Trafford.
After heavy defeats to Brighton and Brentford, United beat bitter rivals Liverpool and scored close wins in trips to Southampton and Leicester.
These are all new tests for former Ajax boss Ten Hag, who loves life in the Premier League and is looking forward to playing against Arsenal.
“It is great and a real pleasure to face these (challenges),” said the Dutchman. "Every game is a challenge and I want it, but it's not about me. It's about improving the team and working on progress.
When asked if he watches all the Premier League games on TV, Ten Hag said: "Yes, I have watched a lot of Arsenal this week, especially as we are focused on our next opponents.
"There are different styles of play in this league and it's great to see that.
“Everything is very intense, but the systems and styles are different and varied, which is great. But it's also about finding ways to beat them. ”
Arsenal have won his first five Premier League games for the first time since the 2004/05 season, but he has only won one in his last 15 league matches at Old Trafford.
United hope it will be another frustrating journey for the North London players whose form in the first month of the season has impressed Ten Hag.
"What we see at the moment is they're at the top because they deserve it," he said.
Next up is Eric ten Hag (center) and his team Arsenal (Kieran Cleves/PA).
"They are playing good football and I'm really looking forward to playing with them to find a way to win."
Further protests against the Glazer family's ownership are planned ahead of Sunday's kick-off, when the big-money Antony could make his debut.
