A father and son were arrested Friday afternoon after they allegedly assaulted a boy who allegedly jumped into his father's car, according to Madison Police.
The incident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. at his 900 block on Vernon's Ave on the Far East side. Police spokesman Hunter Lisco said Friday.
